Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 31, 2026

These terms and conditions govern your use of the ChoreQuest mobile application (App ID: dk.w4.chorequest) for iOS and Android, and the associated web services provided at chorequest.dk by Steffen Mogensen (hereinafter "Service Provider").

By downloading, accessing, or using ChoreQuest, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

License and Permitted Use

Subject to your adherence to these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ChoreQuest for personal household chore and allowance management. You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the application software or its assets.

Intellectual Property

The Service Provider retains all right, title, and interest in and to ChoreQuest, including its code, graphic designs, logos, sound effects, characters, and trademarks.

User-Generated Content & Conduct

Users can post chore definitions and upload verification photo proofs. You agree not to upload content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or harmful.
  • Infringes on any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Contains explicit, offensive, or hazardous material.

The Service Provider reserves the right to moderate, hide, or delete non-compliant content and to suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations.

Subscriptions & Purchases

ChoreQuest may offer optional premium features through in-app subscriptions managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your phone's App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your ChoreQuest account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.

Limitation of Liability

ChoreQuest is provided "as is" as a family coordination tool. The Service Provider is not an intermediary or guarantor for real-world monetary exchanges between parents and children.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot be lawfully waived.

Termination and Account Deletion

You may terminate your use of ChoreQuest at any time by deleting your account via the mobile app settings or through our web self-service portal at chorequest.dk/en/delete-account. All personal and family data will be permanently wiped according to our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, with the District Court of Odense as the venue of first instance.
